Good to know
Everything customers ask us
Do you charge a diagnostic or service call fee?
Your diagnostic inspection is free when you hire us for the repair. If you decide not to move forward after the diagnosis, a flat $60 travel/service fee applies — that’s it, with no hidden or surprise charges.
Do you offer emergency or same-day HVAC service?
Yes. Same-day and emergency service is available. Call or text 216-860-2008 and mention “Emergency Service” so we can prioritize your request. For non-urgent work, just mention “Regular Service.”
What areas do you serve?
We provide residential HVAC repair throughout Cuyahoga County, Lorain County, Medina County, and surrounding areas — including Cleveland, Lakewood, Parma, Strongsville, Westlake, North Olmsted, Lorain, Medina, and many nearby communities.
Can you work on older air conditioners that use R22?
Yes. We service all systems and charge both R22 and R410A refrigerants, so we can help with older AC units that many companies turn away as well as modern equipment.
What HVAC problems do you fix?
We specialize in air conditioning repair, furnace and heating repair, refrigerant recharge, and thermostat installation and repair. Common issues we resolve include AC not cooling, weak airflow, and system malfunctions.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CoolAir Repair LLC is a certified and insured HVAC technician serving Greater Cleveland. We stand behind our work with honest pricing and a satisfaction guarantee.
How quickly do you respond?
We respond quickly to calls and texts at 216-860-2008, and same-day appointments are available. Customers regularly mention our fast response and punctuality in their reviews.
Why is my AC running but not cooling the house?
The most common causes are low refrigerant from a leak, a dirty or frozen coil, weak airflow from a clogged filter, or a failing capacitor or thermostat. A proper diagnosis pinpoints the cause before anything is replaced — and ours is free when you hire us for the repair.
Should I repair or replace my thermostat?
If your system short-cycles, runs at the wrong times, or reads the wrong temperature, the thermostat is often the culprit. We repair thermostats when it makes sense and install new ones when replacement is the smarter value — we’ll explain both options before any work begins.
How do I book a visit?
Call or text 216-860-2008 — we respond quickly — or send the request form on this site. Mention “Emergency Service” for urgent no-heat or no-cool situations, or “Regular Service” for standard appointments.
