Thermostat Installation & Repair
Your thermostat is the brain of your heating and cooling system — and when it misreads, miswires, or fails, the whole house pays for it. We repair and replace thermostats across Greater Cleveland with honest advice on which option is the better value.
Thermostat problems we solve
- Room temperature never matches the setting
- System short-cycles on and off
- Blank or unresponsive display
- Heat or AC runs at the wrong times
- New thermostat needed for an older system
Repair when it makes sense, replace when it doesn’t
Not every misbehaving thermostat needs replacing — sometimes it’s wiring, placement, or a settings fault. We diagnose first and explain both paths with real prices. When replacement is the smarter value, we install the new unit, verify correct operation through a full cycle, and show you how to use it.
Matched correctly to your system
Thermostats aren’t one-size-fits-all: furnaces, air conditioners, and older equipment each have wiring requirements that generic instructions gloss over. Because we service all systems — new and old — your thermostat gets wired and configured for the equipment it actually controls. One recent five-star review covered exactly this: diagnosis, component cleaning, and a new thermostat installed, with the furnace “working perfectly” after.

Thermostat Service questions
Can a bad thermostat make it seem like my furnace or AC is broken?
Absolutely — a faulty thermostat can mimic major system failures: no heat, no cooling, or constant cycling. It’s one of the first things we test during a diagnostic, which is free when you hire us for the repair.
Can you put a modern thermostat on an older furnace or AC?
In most cases yes. We service all systems, and we’ll confirm compatibility with your equipment’s wiring before recommending a specific replacement.
